Welcome to The Landing at Riviera Beach! We are located on the South Texas coast of the beautiful and scenic Baffin Bay in Kleberg County.
If you want to go fishing or just simply relax, our homes are located directly across Riviera Beach Pier and boast a scenic view of the bay. The Landing at Riviera Beach is the perfect choice for your vacation. Come to fish. Stay to Relax.
Baffin Bay, Texas, is renowned for its exceptional fishing, particularly for trophy-sized speckled trout, redfish and black drum. The bay's unique characteristics, including high salinity and diverse habitats, create an ideal environment for these game fish. Anglers can enjoy a variety of fishing experiences, from wading in shallow flats to drifting in deeper channels, with opportunities to catch black drum, flounder, and other species as well. Baffin Bay offers year-round fishing opportunities for trout and redfish, with winter and early spring particularly known for larger trout.
Our Homes
Our rentals offer all the comforts of home in a serene, relaxing location perfect for your vacation. The homes are directly across the street from the water and Riviera Beach Pier and Park. You can walk across the street to fish or drop a kayak into the water.
Each rental offers:

- washing machine/dryer in each house
About the Owners
The Landing at Riviera Beach is owned by Cornelius Hernandez and Kristi L. Taylor. Both Cornelius and Kristi are graduates of nearby Texas A&M University- Kingsville. Kristi Lynn Taylor is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas and is a proud 1989 graduate of Roy Miller High School. Cornelius Hernandez is originally from Indiana but grew up in Dilley, Texas and is a proud 1989 graduate of Dilley High School.
Kristi says, "I have fond memories of fishing in this area when I was in college in the early 1990s. The area has always been peaceful and tranquil, which was a huge draw for me and Cornelius when we purchased our property. The fishing is always great, whether you are looking for redfish, black drum or trout. Even if you don't fish, the beauty and tranquility of Riviera Beach and Baffin Bay offer visitors an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life!"
Both Cornelius and Kristi have a love of traveling and the outdoors, including fishing and hunting. They have a special fondness of Baffin Bay and Riviera Beach and are excited to share their homes with you!
